  • No. Many clients reach out before buying land. Lot selection matters, and we can help evaluate buildability, utilities, zoning, soils, slope, and overall fit for your vision.

  • Our design-build service typically includes: site evaluation, layout planning, engineering coordination, Interior design, permitting, construction management, trade coordination, quality control, final walkthrough, and warranty support.

  • Yes. While we do offer in-house design-build, and we also love to collaborate with outside architects and designers when clients already have a team in place, or would like to bring in a specialist in a specific style or discipline! 

  • The best solution is prevention: thorough planning and early discovery. When surprises do happen, you’ll get clear options, transparent costs, and a decision path—so nothing feels chaotic or unclear.

  • Clear, consistent updates are part of the service. You’ll know what’s happening, what’s next, and where decisions are needed—without having to chase answers.  Leon and the guys in production do a great job of keep our clients in the loop! 

  • Less than most people expect, because the process is structured. Early on, there are a handful of higher-focus decision meetings as well as some onsite planning sessions where we get to know your priorities and wishes. Our team is excellent at inferring your vision from a handful of directions and presenting a cohesive design. 

    Once the plan is set, our production team builds the vision. 90% of your involvement happens prior to construction start!

  • Your home is treated with respect. Only trusted, professional trade partners are brought onto the project, and expectations for conduct, communication, and site behavior are clear. The goal is a discreet, well-run jobsite that feels comfortable for your household and your neighbors. 

  • We rely on a core group of trusted trade partners. These are the people who have for years, consistently met our standards for quality, communication, and professionalism in a client’s home. For specialty scopes, we may bring in additional experts, but only after they’ve been vetted and aligned with the expectations of a Renew jobsite.

  • Often, yes! Sharing finished work is a key part of how we market and how future clients find Renew. That said, we’ll always be respectful and coordinate with you first. If you prefer privacy or want certain areas kept off camera, that can be accommodated.
